We are Dave and Carol Embleton.
We acquired our first jukebox by chance when buying some dodgem cars for restoration! After listening to music played on vinyl and remembering how much better it sounded we were hooked and went on to buy several more jukeboxes for ourselves. We decided to sell one and were surprised and pleased at the interest shown and hence our personal interest became a business.
The jukeboxes we sell are mainly from the 60's, 70's, and early 80's, Rockola, Wurlitzer, Seeburg and Rowe-Ami being the most popular. We buy machines in any conditon and clean them inside and out and fully service them repairing any faults and replacing old components when necessary. A lot of time and care goes in to acquiring the best possible sound from our jukeboxes. Some restoration is done to the exterior but most due to their age will still have some 'patina' which we believe adds to the look.
We deliver all over the UK and will set your jukebox up in your home. We very often supply them with a full set of records to get you started. There is an abundance of 7" records around to buy cheaply from car boot sales and charity shops and online on Ebay and Discogs etc. It is very rare that customers have a problem after purchase but any queries or problems can usually be sorted with advice over the 'phone.
There is nothing like the sound of music played on a jukebox and listening to records from previous decades brings back many happy memories and with everything retro being popular at the moment a jukebox is a cool addition to your home and a real talking point with visitors. We have set jukeboxes up in living rooms, kitchens, bedrooms, conservatories, garden sheds and cellars!
You can visit our premises in Tow Law, Co. Durham to view and listen to our jukeboxes and enjoy the inimitable sound of vinyl. We are passionate about providing a first class service and introducing others to the delights owning one of these machines brings.
