This was an American import some years ago.
Bike was rebuilt by myself with no expense spared and has not done many miles since.
It has matching numbers.
Frame was powder coated in powder coat primer and then sprayed to correct colour match for 1971.
Rear wheel rim is original Dunlop with stainless steel spokes. Front wheel rim is British chrome rim with stainless spokes.
Exhaust front pipes are stainless and new chrome silencers fitted.
Engine was completely rebuilt with whatever was needed.
Still has the original bush crank with zero end float, that I prefer.
Has 22 teeth front sprocket and new 32ml concentrics. This gives an excellent cruising speed.
Brakes all work well. It had special liners put on the front.
Not done many miles since it has been rebuilt and the Dunlop K70 tyres are still as new.
The only problems I have ever had with the machine have been caused by Ethanol fuel, basically because it doesn't get used enough and the ethanol goes off in the pilot jets. This is the same for all classic bikes fitted with concentric carbs. The cure would be to drain the carbs if it was going to stand for any time.
Bike goes very well, exhaust note is one of the best ever.
Any questions, please ask.
Would take classic bike or project or possibly classic car in pt/ex.
Can deliver to most of UK.
Can only put four pics on here, have more if needed.
